  1. On the Mandy front - note on the Rads blog from Tuesday 10th shows 195 (yes one hundred and ninety five!) Mandarin on Garreg-ddu in the Elan Valley. Now I know they're non-native/escapees etc etc but that must have been impressive to see

    1. 195 is amazing Mark. Non-native yes, but I doubt any of these are escapees. And I thought they were a shy woodland stream species!

    1. Yes Sue, it was wonderful. Two Sparrowhawks were in attendance, but they would have found it a confusing hunt! The track is muddy and rutted but passable with care or good luck....
