Dolydd Hafren 02/05/2021

Spent the morning on the reserve and it delivered once again. Treated to wonderful, albeit distance views of a Hobby hunting insects over the river, before it flew off towards Welshpool around 13:30. A Sparrowhawk made an audacious attempt at hunting an Oystercatcher but he was having none of it. 2 pairs of  Common Sandpiper vocally chasing each other around the beach area. At least 1 Yellow Wagtail still present.
