Juvenile Dark Bellied Brent Goose still present at times when not feeding in the adjacent field. Watched a Great Egret exhibiting what I at first thought was unusual hunting behaviour by spreading its wings as it took a step. Further observation revealed it was using its wings to balance itself due to an injured leg each time it took a step. Looks to be quite a handicap.
