Swallow

I've been staking out a puddle, ("Get a life, Chris", I hear you say), on the way home from DOP for about 2 weeks. Yesterday, the light was the best yet, and with the first brood already on the wing, nest building was re-commencing. The female was flying in, carrying straw, and then adding mud, before heading back to a barn. Many cars passed with the occupants oblivious to such an engrossing sight.
