Dyfi Osprey Project

All three chicks are still thriving and are about four weeks old - just over half way to fledging. As the calorific requirements of the five ospreys rapidly increases so, accordingly, do the frequency of the fishing trips - yesterday, five separate fish were brought in to the nest.

It's just the male osprey that does all the fishing and last week he brought his hundredth fish to the nest. This is the breakdown of the fish species he has brought back to the nest so far. More information including daily videos from the nest on Facebook and Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust's website. Emyr
