COED-Y-DINAS morning

No sign of the Scaup, however there were 5 Goosander, three males and two females, in splendid condition with one pair mating. The Shoveler pair were still around looking really nice in the sun.
I counted over 90 Lapwing in two different groups, one on the main island and one small group in the air. A Buzzard made an appearance over the lake persued by a single crow.

Teal in reasonable numbers were right at the back of the lake, a few Tufted were seen together with dozens of Mallard, of which one or two were mating.

On the path to the hide were a few Bullfinch.

The water level has dropped by at least 300mm so no more paddling to get to the hide, and enough room for a few Lapwing on the small island at front of hide.
