very nice - not seen one this winter yet - the feeders are waiting!
ReplyDeleteLlyn Coed-y-dinas almost devoid of birds as was Powis Castle grounds this pm, and I have not seen a Redpoll yet either, although Kevin and Chris have them in their gardens, not far away.
ReplyDeletefurther to Brians comments, yes have now had Redpoll in the garden for ove a week. This morning 6 birds:-2 male/4 female,the females have been on the niger feeders whilst the males took to feeding on a pile of niger seeds that i placed on the seed table.
ReplyDeleteBrian, Yes you have had Redpoll in the garden,saw two birds on your roadside hedge just after 2-30pm this afternoon,as i drove over Redbank. (We'll if you will go gallivanting!!!!!!)
