White Wagtail @ Montgomery

2 seen in a ploughed field by lower Lymore pool, other birds of note included Pied Flycatcher, Redstart, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Blackcap and a pair of Mistle Thrushes feeding a very healthy brood of chicks.

    Well spotted Paul. I understand the `grey rump`is a giveaway, are there any other markings that distinguish it from a `pied` Are they very rare in the County?

    Llyn Coed-y-dinas quite often has White Wagtails Trevor, you have to check every 'Pied' though.
