Quick walk


Quick walk down the river today to see if I could see the Dippers, took a while to find them but got there in the end, seems the fledglings are hiding under a bank on the side of the brook I walk down but they did come out briefly, could only see 2 of the 3 that Paul ringed but guess that's not a bad survival rate.


You can just make out the ring on its leg.


Nice to see a pair of Bullfinch collecting nesting material the male was favouring the dandelion.

    thatll be food rather than nesting material which is just twigs and fine roots
