I understand that House Sparrows can be rare or even completely absent in some places. Hard to believe here as we have loads of them, especially with all the youngsters now on the wing!

Second brood of Grey Wagtails
Found this Grey Wagtail nest a couple of weeks back just after the first brood had fledged. Delighted to see that they have successfully bred again, with four youngsters in the nest this time. Doesn't look like they'll be there for much longer either!
I understand that House Sparrows can be rare or even completely absent in some places. Hard to believe here as we have loads of them, especially with all the youngsters now on the wing!
