Blackcap - Montgomery

3 Blackcap (2 male/1 female) on our apple tree yesterday morning.  What a treat!

Edit: There you go Kev!  I tried to get some shots yesterday but they didn't show, but they came back around half three this afternoon; records shots, but better than nothing.

  2. Well done Edd, might be worth putting up a Blackcap friendly bird box.

  4. Thanks. We have a single nest box in the garden, but nothing has ever nested in it. I'll look at putting some more up next year. Wouldn't say no to nesting Blackcaps in the garden!
