LCyD Friday 21 June

Floodwaters on the way down leaving the reedbed partially exposed - single rather forlorn looking Reed Warbler calling frantically, single GC Grebe and a decent number of Black-headed Gull chicks remain.  But the BH Gull chicks are all of the same age/stage of development, those that could float on or fly away from the rising water.  Couldn't see any younger/downy chicks so suspect they all sadly drowned
