Starling Roost at Dolydd Hafren



The murmuration was impressive on 30th around 5pm. The lane is very uneven and muddy, so 4WD vehicles are advised. I thought the optimal view point was from the first hide, where Shoveler, and Water Rail were also present, and Curlew were roosting. A Peregrine hunting at high speed through the flock added to the spectacle.
