Nobody told this Red-legged Partridge that the birds should be outside the hide, and the birders inside. Thanks to Kevin Gallagher for sending this photo - he arrived at dawn this morning and found he wasn't the first in. He managed to persuade it back through the door to join the other two - recently there have been 3 of these introduced gamebirds on the reserve. Many local pheasant shoots release Red-legs too.
