Leucistic Brambling


Over 100 Brambling this morning and was really pleased to have a Leucistic

  1. Leucism is a genetic condition resulting in partial loss of pigmentation. Leucistic birds can often survive well, though they are more visible to predators. Albinos on the other hand are pink-eyed, weak and rarely survive in the wild for long.
