Turtle dove, Meifod

Very excited to hear a turtle dove from our garden in Meifod. I was just putting the ladder away and heard the purring call in the distance. We grabbed the bins and camera, strolled down the road a bit and got super views. All I need now is a pint of beer, and for England to win against Sweden, and it will be a perfect Friday evening! Hopefully the turtle dove will stick around for a while longer.

    Fantastic, last Turtle Doves I saw in Montgomeryshire were near Dolanog about 1980.
